As a new patient, we will make every effort to ensure you have a clear sense of how we will look after you now and in the future. We provide an initial 30 minute consultation, where a thorough clinical assessment is carried out. This will involve:
Plans for new patients
As a new patient, you will also have the opportunity to join our Membership Plan payment scheme. This is a maintenance program that covers all the costs of any routine treatment and emergencies which may arise. Plans start from just £9.98 per month. For more information, please see our Membership Plan page and if you have any further questions about Plans, our receptionists are more than happy to talk through them with you.
Eden Dental Centre welcomes children of existing and new patients, offering treatment at a reduced fee, which you can see here. We now also offer Plan for Children which spreads the cost of their treatment and sets them up for success in developing healthy oral hygiene habits.

- Radiographs (where necessary) so that we can assess the health of your current dental situation.
- Tooth check to assess health, function and appearance of your teeth and existing restorations.
- Extensive gum assessment to establish risk or presence to gum disease. We may recommend a tailored Hygienist programme after this to re-establish excellent gum conditions.
- Bite records, examining how your teeth meet and if there is any excessive tooth wear, which can lead to sensitivity or joint problems.
- Assessment of external joints to detect clicking or locking joints, which can cause migraine or neck pain.
- Oral cancer screening, looking at internal soft tissues and external soft tissues
- Discussion of lifestyle regarding diet, smoking, alcohol consumption, which is relevant to your general health and medication.
